If you ever become stranded or are in need of service, simply call the toll free number on your contract or log in with your account information and the roadside assistance phone number will appear on the top of the CARCHEX Roadside website in large red text.
There is a 3 business day waiting period before you can call for our services. This means if you buy a plan on Monday you will not be able to use it until Thursday. If you buy a service plan on Friday you will not be able to use it until Wednesday of the following week.
- Wait until your plan auto renews on your annual sign up date.
- Sign up for a new contract and it will begin 3 days from when you pay for a new policy. This will be your new annual renewal date. You must cancel your old contract or you will be billed for both service contracts upon the following renewal dates. Since it is possible to buy more than one service contract, we will not know that you did not intend to acquire more than one policy.
